SAP PP/DS (A1177)

• Analyze business requirements and translate them into functional SAP PP/DS solution designs.
• Configure embedded PP/DS in SAP S/4HANA, including planning procedures, heuristics, planning runs, and detailed scheduling strategies.
• Design solutions for finite capacity planning, production sequencing, bottleneck management, and material availability.
• Work with master data, including products, resources, Bills of Materials (BOMs), routings, and production versions.
• Collaborate with SAP PP and MM teams to align production planning with manufacturing execution and procurement.
• Investigate and resolve planning issues, prepare functional specifications, and collaborate with developers.
• Support data migration, integration testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), solution deployment, and post-go-live stabilization.
• Prepare process documentation, deliver user training, and facilitate knowledge transfer.

• Hands-on experience with SAP PP/DS configuration and implementation.
• Experience with embedded PP/DS in SAP S/4HANA.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, production planning, and capacity constraints.
• Knowledge of heuristics, scheduling strategies, pegging, and planning exception management.
• Experience with manufacturing master data (BOMs, routings/recipes, work centers, production versions, resources, and PDS).
• Understanding of integration between SAP PP/DS, SAP PP, and SAP MM.
• Ability to analyze business requirements and translate them into functional designs and tested solutions.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
• Availability for remote collaboration with occasional travel to Hungary.

Nice to Have

• Experience with at least one full project lifecycle, from design through go-live.
• Experience with PP/DS optimization and setup-time reduction.
• SAP APO PP/DS knowledge, particularly migration to embedded PP/DS.
• Familiarity with SAP IBP integration, SAP Fiori planning applications, or SAP Activate methodology.
