Security Engineer with English Language

• Implement and manage Endpoint/Extended Detection and Response (EDR/XDR) solutions.
• Administer Microsoft Defender (Endpoint, Cloud, Identity, Cloud Apps, Office 365) and Sophos Intercept X (EDR/XDR) with Sophos SG/XG Firewalls.
• Standardize and automate workflows using appropriate scripting tools.
• Plan, design, and execute the implementation and operation of EDR/XDR solutions.
• Handle and resolve complex technical tasks and assignments.
• Assist in preparing decision-making templates and technical concepts.
• Install, maintain, and optimize associated tools.
• Develop and implement service concepts and manage order processes.
• Ensure compliance with agreed service levels and maintain technical documentation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on projects for shared customers of OS GmbH.

Education: Master’s degree or relevant certifications.

Experience: Minimum of 3 years in:

• Microsoft Defender solutions (Defender XDR).
• Administration of EDR/XDR solutions.
• Operation of Microsoft Defender (Endpoint, Cloud, Identity, Cloud Apps, O365).
• Operation of Sophos Intercept X (EDR/XDR) and Sophos SG/XG Firewalls.
• Installing and maintaining related tools.

Preferred Certifications:

• SC-900: Microsoft Security, Compliance, and Identity Fundamentals.
• SC-200: Microsoft Security Operations Analyst.
• Sophos Certified Technician – Central Endpoint and Server.

Language Skills:

• English: Upper intermediate (B2) level.
• German: Advantageous but not mandatory.

Additional Skills:

• Strong hands-on mentality with excellent organizational and planning abilities.
• Proven ability to implement and manage IT solutions.
• Effective collaboration and stakeholder management skills.
