Senior AWS Architect

What will be your key responsibilities:

  • Design and implement automated tools for data collection and transfer to the AWS cloud.
  • Collaborate on large-scale data processing and analytics projects for international clients.
  • Support clients in transitioning from batch to near-real-time data processing.
  • Consult clients in areas such as risk management, sales, customer experience, and process optimization.
  • Lead data preparation and transformation projects across industries (banking, telco, automotive, finance).
  • Work fully remotely with opportunities to contribute to Western European projects.
  • Be part of a team that treats working with data as a mission, not just a job.

What experience should you have:

Must-have:

  • Excellent knowledge of Spark / PySpark / Python
  • Experience with AWS services: EMR, S3, Athena, EC2, Glue, Redshift, RDS
  • Strong knowledge of the Hadoop ecosystem: HDFS, HBase, Hive, Presto, Kafka
  • Bash scripting and Linux administration skills
  • Familiarity with relational databases: PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle
  • Experience with data modeling and batch data processing
  • Use of version control systems (Git/SVN) and tools like Jira

Nice-to-have:

  • Experience with Kinesis (streaming data services)
  • Basic understanding of Databricks
  • Familiarity with Infrastructure-as-Code tools (e.g., Terraform)
