Senior Buyer Logistics

We’re on the lookout for a Senior Buyer in the logistics segment to lead procurement initiatives, driving strategic sourcing and enhancing cost efficiency in logistics services.

• Develop & Deploy Strategies: Craft and execute effective sourcing strategies for logistics and warehousing to optimize services and manage costs.
• Achieve Results: Lead projects focused on 4PL solutions and warehouse efficiency, fostering cost reduction and standardization in road freight and warehousing operations.
• Negotiate & Manage Contracts: Secure favorable supplier agreements, ensuring contracts are adhered to and swiftly addressing any potential challenges.
• Build Strong Relationships: Collaborate seamlessly with stakeholders and 4PL partners, providing expert procurement support and driving continuous improvements.

Key Challenges & Complexities You’ll Face:

• Navigating relationships with diverse logistics suppliers and internal teams.
• Maintaining compliance and transparency throughout procurement processes.

Your qualifications should entail:

• Experience: A minimum of 3+ years in logistics procurement, ideally with 3PL/4PL exposure.
• Skills: Excellent analytical skills, strong proficiency in Excel, effective project management, top-notch problem-solving, and strong communication abilities.
• Education: University degree.
• Languages: Proficiency in English is essential; German or Italian is a bonus.
