Senior Data Acquisition Engineer - Hydraulics & Fuel

We are looking for a Senior Data Acquisition (DAQ) Engineer to develop Aerospace products. You will be responsible for data acquisition systems, controllers and DAQ programming for automated testing of hydraulics and fuel components. 

What will be your key responsibilities:

  • Technical specification for hydraulics and fuel test cells DAQ and controls (data acquisition system, control system, electrical installation, cooling system, motor drives, sensors, etc.).
  • Perform data acquisition configurations, including installation of sensors, control systems tuning, wiring, assuring sensors calibrations.
  • Programming automated tests for aircraft (Boeing 787, 777, 737) fuel systems and components (development, qualification, certification tests). Analyzing experimental data.
  • Preparation of test procedures and test reports.
  • Bill of material definition, creating purchase requests, communication with suppliers.
  • Technical support in building new hydraulics and fuel test cells.
  • Supporting preparation Czech and EU grant proposals for investment and R&D projects.
  • R&D of new hydraulic and fuel products and systems. Participation in building prototypes and new test configurations.
  • Secure compliance with internal and external standards and regulations.
  • Participate in new product and technology development projects".

What experience should you have:

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor or Master´s degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering or equivalent.
  • Relevant experience in programming and configuring data acquisition systems and controls for hydraulics or fuel systems testing within aerospace, automotive or industrial field.
  • Knowledge of NI data acquisition systems, interfaces, sensors.
  • Knowledge of LabVIEW programming – automated tests, data acquisition and control systems.
  • Knowledge of control systems, HIL and controls tuning (VFD, motor controllers, hydraulic control systems).
  • Basic knowledge of electro-hydraulic, hydro-mechanical and hydraulic systems and hydraulic circuits.
  • Skills in mathematical modelling and simulation of hydraulic systems and controls (Matlab/Simulink Simscape, Amesim, etc.).
  • Experience with aerospace requirements and standards (RTCA DO-160G, EASA CS, etc.) is desired.
