Senior Data Analyst (Python) Prague

Hi, we are Datamole: a friendly data & AI company of 80+ people. We’re a mix of data scientists, data engineers, and fullstack developers. We develop custom AI, IoT & UI solutions for industrial companies in agriculture, manufacturing, machinery or biotech. 

Our Data Analysis team in Prague is looking for a Senior Data Analyst that will drive the development of a new project.

In general, you can expect to be working with data from the hi-tech machines built/operated by our customers. By providing on-request analyses as well as by building production-grade data-processing pipelines, we help our customers utilize their data, make better decisions, and ultimately increase the quality of their products.

YOUR ROLE:

You will provide technical leadership for a new project. This involves translating domain expert needs into technical solutions, identifying the right approaches and tooling, and driving implementation from prototyping to productization. 

You'll also mentor junior colleagues by offering them technical guidance and code reviews.

YOU SHOULD HAVE:

proven ability to lead a data-analysis-related project on a technical level

proficiency in Python and pandas (ability to write efficient and observable data-processing pipelines, ability to adhere to and set good coding practices)

solid theoretical background in computer science (data structures, algorithms, design patterns, OOP...)

experience with delivering solutions in Databricks

experience with CICD (Github Actions)

knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases

experience with Grafana or other tools for data pipeline monitoring

experience with AWS/Azure cloud technologies
