For a renowned multinational company, we are looking for a motivated

Senior Development Engineer

specializing in vehicle battery systems.

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Development of innovative battery concepts and components.
• Technical coordination with internal specialist departments and external suppliers.
• Development of test methods for testing and verifying new battery concepts and hardware functions.
• Supervision and coordination of initial tests in the early stages of development.
• Optimization of battery systems in terms of lifespan, energy density, performance, safety, and costs.

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in a technical field (automotive industry), ideally with experience in Formula E.
• Fluency in English.
• Ability to process information from various technical disciplines (mechanics, electrical engineering, thermodynamics, software, etc.).
• Knowledge of tools for managing development processes (e.g., IBM DOORS, PTC INTEGRITY).
• Solid knowledge of battery system development (cell integration, E/E, thermal system design, standards and norms) within the PEP process.
• Ideally, experience with Matlab / Simulink / AVL CRUISE-M.
• Ideally, experience with Creo Parametric 2.0 / CATIA V5.
• Willingness for occasional business trips.
