Senior Java Developer

We are looking for a Senior Java Developer to join team focusing on the development of monitoring and analytical solutions. You will be expected to have experience with the entire development cycle, including analysis, design, and creation of data models.

Since 1994, our partner has been helping businesses worldwide navigate digital transformation with software and consulting services for complex SAP projects. Their expertise includes SAP S/4HANA transformations, mergers and acquisitions, system optimizations, cloud data integration, and system decommissioning. With over 1,500 employees across 35 locations in 20 countries, the company is headquartered in Heidelberg, Germany.

What will be your key responsibilities:

  • Participating in the whole development cycle - including analysis, design and creation of data models
  • Defining user interfaces with the focus on maximizing usability and user experience, creative web design
  • Creation of work packages for other team members & effort estimates
  • Support in customer implementation projects & customer support
  • Active participation in knowledge sharing within your team as well as across teams
  • Your tasks may vary based on your skills, experience, and competencies

What experience should you have:

  • Positive mindset and joy in teamwork
  • 5+ years of experience in a front end development position
  • Programming experience and strong knowledge of Java and C++
  • Good understanding of database systems, SQL, object-oriented programming (OOP), and UML
  • Good English skills (speaking and writing)
