Senior Project Manager (Financial Systems)

We are in search of an experienced Financial Systems Senior Project Manager to become an integral part of our forward-thinking team at CIGroupEMEAs partner. At the core of our mission is transforming the customer parking experience through integrating exceptional talent and the latest technological advancements. In this critical role, you will lead the implementation and oversight of our enterprise financial systems and applications. Your leadership will ensure that all projects not only meet their economic and temporal parameters but also resonate with our overarching strategic objectives.

What will be your key responsibilities:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Lifecycle Management: Spearhead all phases of project management for enterprise financial systems and applications, including initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, and closure. Ensure that each project aligns with business goals and is delivered on time, within scope, and under budget.
  • Stakeholder Engagement and Communication: Lead and facilitate regular governance meetings with internal and external stakeholders to review project status, discuss challenges, and plan future actions. Employ effective communication strategies to ensure all stakeholders are informed and engaged throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Scrum Product Ownership: Act as the Product Owner within an Agile Scrum framework, managing the product backlog, prioritizing tasks based on strategic value, and providing clear directions and objectives to the development team. Ensure the agile team is aligned with project goals and delivering value to the business.
  • Risk and Dependency Management: Identify, document, and monitor project risks and dependencies. Develop comprehensive mitigation and contingency plans to address identified risks, ensuring minimal impact on project timelines and deliverables.
  • Budget Management: Oversee project budgets, ensuring that expenditures are within the allocated funds. Work closely with finance and procurement teams to track financial performance and make adjustments as necessary to align with financial objectives.
  • Quality Assurance and Compliance: Ensure that project deliverables meet the highest quality standards and comply with relevant industry regulations and company policies. Conduct regular quality reviews and implement continuous improvement practices to enhance project outcomes.
  • Team Leadership and Development: Lead, motivate, and support project teams to achieve excellence in project delivery. Foster a collaborative work environment, provide ongoing feedback, and facilitate professional development opportunities for team members.
  • Strategic Alignment: Work closely with senior management to ensure that projects support the organization's strategic objectives. Adjust project scopes, schedules, and resources as needed to align with evolving business priorities.
  • Innovation and Process Improvement: Continuously seek opportunities to innovate and improve project management processes and tools. Incorporate new technologies and methodologies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness of project delivery.
  • Reporting and Documentation: Prepare and present comprehensive project reports and updates to senior management and stakeholders. Ensure that all project documentation is accurately maintained and readily accessible for review and audit purposes.

What experience should you have:

Required Skills:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business or Science.
  • 6-8 years of experience as an Agile Project Manager with a strong track record in managing large enterprise implementations.
  • Deep understanding of finance/accounting, procurement, and revenue systems and practices.
  • Exceptional leadership abilities, capable of conducting and driving meetings with business stakeholders and presenting to executive-level audiences.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and organizational skills.
  • Fluent in English, with a self-driven and detail-oriented approach.
  • Ability to identify challenges and propose practical solutions.
  • Must have a valid tax ID and be able to create invoices.

Preferred Skills:

  • Prior experience with ERP, procurement, and finance systems implementations.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of enterprise-level finance operations.
  • Professional certifications such as PMP, PMI-ACP, CSPO, or CSM.
  • Proficiency in JIRA and Confluence.
