Senior Test Engineer

Our partner has grown from a software development startup to a 100-person company now. In addition to their custom in-house software development, they provide high quality, professional consulting and technical assistance to their large enterprise clients.

They are currently looking for a Senior Test Engineer to join their partner in the insurance sector, with 1 office day per week.

What will be your key responsibilities:

Your tasks will be:

  • Testing, debugging, implementing application components of the performance analysis
  • Preparing, executing and reporting performance tests
  • Managing technical problems (e.g. user support, IPM ticket)
  • Troubleshooting and supporting customer requests
  • Technical documenting user guidelines

What experience should you have:

You will be suitable for this position if you have:

  • 5+ years of proven experience in a similar role, working with Java or C#
  • Experience with performance testing tools (ideally Tricentis NeoLoad)
  • Deep knowledge in test management (e.g. ISTQB Advanced Level)
  • Fluency in German, both written and spoken (English is a plus)
  • Solution-oriented mind and openness to deal with clients
  • + Experience with Linux, Jira, and SQL is not required, but advantageous
