Creative Dock is looking for an SEO specialist to lead and execute comprehensive SEO strategies to optimize website performance, enhance search engine rankings, and drive organic growth with a particular focus on e-commerce websites. This role involves optimizing website copy, technical SEO, and strategic content development to align with business goals.

What will be your key responsibilities:

SEO Strategy Development: Design and implement advanced SEO strategies (incl. long-term planning and roadmaps) to improve organic search performance across multiple platforms, with a focus on e-commerce.

On-Page Optimization: Conduct in-depth keyword research to identify opportunities for content optimization. Optimize website copy beyond meta titles and descriptions, ensuring alignment with SEO best practices and user experience. Collaborate with content teams to craft SEO-friendly, engaging, and conversion-driven content.

Technical SEO: Perform comprehensive technical audits to identify and resolve website issues impacting performance. Work closely with web developers to implement technical SEO improvements such as site speed optimization, structured data, and mobile-friendliness. Monitor and optimize website architecture, internal linking, and crawlability.

Content Optimization & Strategy: Provide strategic recommendations for content creation and updates to improve relevance and authority. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure SEO considerations are integrated into content marketing strategies. Lead the development of content clusters and pillar pages to support long-term SEO growth.

Performance Monitoring & Reporting: Utilize SEO tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and other industry-standard platforms to track and analyze website performance. Provide actionable insights based on performance metrics to stakeholders. Continuously monitor industry trends, algorithm updates, and competitor activities.

Link Building & Outreach: Develop and execute link-building strategies to enhance domain authority and search rankings. Collaborate with PR and content teams for outreach opportunities.

Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, content, design, and development teams to implement SEO best practices.



What we need from you:

  • Advanced knowledge of SEO tools (SEMrush, Ahrefs, etc.)
  • Google Search Console 
  • Google Analytics 
  • Understanding of website building and coding languages for basic SEO needs
  • English fluency and German language is a plus
  • Advanced SEO strategy and execution
  • Technical SEO audits and implementation
  • Content optimization for SEO
  • Analytics and performance tracking
  • E-commerce SEO expertise
  • Adaptability and continuous learning mindset
