Software Engineer (C++)

What will be your key responsibilities:

  • Create high quality code that runs on multiple operating systems
  • Use latest technologies and C++ standard.
  • Strong cross functional team skills.
  • Be willing to teach and to learn and become a productive member of the team.
  • Maintenance of existing agent for nftables
  • You will be responsible for maintaining and developing an existing agent that programs nftables in Kubernetes, OpenShift and other container technologies. The agent is written in C++.

What experience should you have:

  • Expertise in programming in C++ (C++11/14/17/20).
  • Experience in delivering reliable portable application software on multiple operating systems.
  • Strong knowledge of networking programing using POSIX APIs.
  • Experience with developing/using RESTful APIs.
  • Experience developing multi-threaded applications.
  • Strong debugging skills utilizing built in OS tools like valgrind, Windbg, etc.
  • Strong understanding of fundamental data structures & algorithms,
  • Familiarity with writing unit tests in a test harnesses such as GoogleTest, CPPTest, etc.
  • Write scripts in one or more of the following - bash, powershell, Bourne shell.
  • MS/BS in STEM or equivalent with 5+ years of relevant work experience
