Solution Manager - Digital Power

What will be your key responsibilities:

Do you have experience in the field of digital power, data center energy and/ or  photovoltaics? Do you enjoy developing business relationships?

For a leading global provider of information and communication technology (ICT) infrastructure and smart devices, we are looking for a Digital Energy Business Development Manager to develop business opportunities in the field of Digital Power.

The Solution Manager is responsible for analyzing the customer’s demand, providing optimized solutions to customers, and delivering solution value to customers. Duties include leading an ambitious build-up of market share by expanding businesses, partnerships, and entering new markets.

Your responsibilities will be mainly:

  • Perform Market Analysis and suggest the Sales strategy/Product roadmap
  • Product planning, analyze Technical demand/Product function/License
  • Analyze the development trend of the solar inverter market
  • Competitors’ strategy/operation Analysis
  • Technical solution verification with customer & solution optimization to ensure the leading edge
  • Execution of internal process by following SOP
  • Support project bidding by preparing BOM/quotation
  • Track purchase orders, maintain project documentation


What experience should you have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineer, Information Technologies, Mechanical Engineering, Automatic Control Engineering, Photovoltaics and Renewable Energy or similar domain
  • At least 5 years’ experience in Technical Sales position in Solar Energy industry- Inverter Sales or EPC background is preferred
  • Strong analytical skills, detail-oriented and strong communication skills.
  • Master the basic theory & knowledge of Solar Inverter technology
  • Excellence in MS Office/AutoCAD
  • Business travelling will be required
  • Good communication, presentation, negotiation skills
  • Customer and result orientation
  • Ability to share experience and knowledge
  • Fluent English & German
