Specialist employment law and employee relations

We are looking for a unique personality for the position of HR Specialist/Partner for Employee Relations in Germany, who will be responsible for managing employee relations cases for designated groups of employees. If you think it might be you, please get in touch with me.

What will be your key responsibilities:

  • Address and manage Employee Relations inquiries promptly, taking full ownership of assigned tasks, initiatives, and inquiries to ensure efficient resolution with a high level of quality
  • Formulate and execute investigation plans, maintaining close communication with case owners, managers, and key stakeholders
  • Analyze relevant policies and practices to determine potential violations and ensure compliance
  • Assist in crafting Performance Improvement Plans (PIPs) and implementing Corrective Action steps
  • Coordinate with the legal team to gather necessary information for responding to legal claims
  • Cultivate credibility and trust with customers, supervisors, and team members
  • Identify areas for enhancement in daily operational processes.
  • Undertake special projects and related duties as delegated
  • Participate in significant workplace events such as restructurings, M&A activities, etc., at the cluster or country level

What experience should you have:

  • English (business level) and German (C1/C2)
  • University/ Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent required in Economics, Human Resources, Labor Law or related
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to address any open questions
  • Proven problem-solving skills and ability to accurately gather information for understanding and assessing customer needs
  • Discretion, integrity, confidentiality, and good judgment
  • Capacity to understand systems and quick learning of processes
  • Desire to learn and develop, determination to handle significant and confidential tasks
  • Enthusiastic team player with a strong desire to create a positive work environment
