• Provide specialized technical expertise to the Simultaneous Development Team (SDT) in a specific area.
• Communicates globally with relevant SMTE/s (Subject Matter Technical Expert/s)
• Continuously deepen knowledge of product and process through reverse engineering and sharing best business practices.
• Offer technical support in supplier selection and make-or-buy decisions, ensuring cost-effectiveness and validating technical choices.
• Support teams in making sound technical decisions for projects and pass the knowledge to team members and newcomers.
• Pro-actively participate in technical reviews
• Support teams in identifying technical risks and propose preventive actions
• Contribute to clarifying customer requirements
Primary tasks:
• Acquire a comprehensive understanding of customer requirements, particularly in the context of noise and vibration.
• Analyze raw signal and acoustics data gathered from sound check stations located within our manufacturing facilities.
• Identify root cause and propose corrective actions to be applied
• Understand PC hardware and software basics including Noise frequency spectrum and FFT analysis
• Have basic electrotechnics understanding and ability to build simple testing equipment
• Configure and establish testing stations while also conducting analyses on customer-returned components.
• Learn and use subjective noise evaluation of power seats
• Have basic knowledge of statistical / analytical methods needed for data processing
• Have basic knowledge of design and quality tools, including FMEA, 8D, Problem solving, Continuous improvement, etc.
• Have basic knowledge and understanding of 2D/3D documentation
• Willingness to
travel to plants/customers/suppliers
