• Provide specialized technical expertise to the Simultaneous Development Team (SDT) in a specific area.
• Communicates globally with relevant SMTE/s (Subject Matter Technical Expert/s)
• Continuously deepen knowledge of product and process through reverse engineering and sharing best business practices.
• Offer technical support in supplier selection and make-or-buy decisions, ensuring cost-effectiveness and validating technical choices.
• Support teams in making sound technical decisions for projects and pass the knowledge to team members and newcomers.
• Pro-actively participate in technical reviews
• Support teams in identifying technical risks and propose preventive actions
• Contribute to clarifying customer requirements
Primary tasks:
• Gain a comprehensive understanding of customer requirements, focusing on both electrical and mechanical aspects.
• Translate seat structure requirements into precise motor specifications.
• Have knowledge of general electrical standards, such as EMC, critical motor characteristics (power, torque, performance curves, etc.), and basic functions of electrical components and power circuits.
• Have basic knowledge and understanding of 2D/3D documentation
• Have basic knowledge of statistical / analytical methods needed for data processing
• Have basic knowledge of design and quality tool, including FMEA, 8D, Problem solving, Continuous improvement, etc.
•Organize and lead regular meetings with motor suppliers.
•Willingness to occasionally travel to our plants and technical centers, as well as customers and suppliers
