Strategic Logistics Planner - Prague

Our client is an integral part of a well-known German automotive manufacturer. The company is looking to strengthen its team in Prague and would like to hire a Strategic Logistics Planner (m/f/w). What will be your key responsibilities:

Supporting the future development of an after-sales logistics network for our client to ensure our competitiveness in terms of customer orientation, sustainability and efficiency
Designing and implementing new long-term logistics concepts such as choice of location, operator model, material flow- and transport concept
Analysing logistics processes, derivation of material flows and storage solutions
Developing the management model for the global locations after launch
Preparing and executing tenders for logistics services and supporting international implementation projects
Evaluating internal and external logistics processes to identify future cost potential and synergies
Supporting the implementation of the future steering model of the global logistics sites

What experience should you have:

Professional proficiency in English
Completed studies with a focus on logistics, transportation, supply chain management or similar
Experienced in planning and executing logistics projects
Good knowledge of material flow analysis and project management
Strategic thinking, high analytical and conceptual skills
Team player, cross-cultural competence
Entrepreneurial thinking and independent acting
High communication and persuasive skills
High resilience and flexibility
Willingness to travel
