Supply Chain Coordinator

We are looking for a Supply Chain Coordinator to join our client's supply chain and purchasing team. This position reports to the Supply Chain Manager, collaborates with internal buyers and liaises with external suppliers within EU countries.

What will be your key responsibilities:

  • In strong collaboration with internal customers and external suppliers, driving the production and service needs.
  • Manages actively the suppliers with focus on deliveries and schedules, regularly runs and analyses missing components reports and follows up actively with the suppliers.
  • Maintain full data accuracy in the ERP system.
  • Evaluates Purchased Material Requirements (from needs calculation, ROP, customer service …) and plans material replenishment.
  • Focal point for new equipment and overhaul projects need, interfaces with Business Management and Customer Service dept. for any need.
  • Supports the Supply Chain Manager / Sourcing Specialist in the sourcing process (study of company needs, study of market, finding and benchmarking of local sources, etc.) and actively contribute to this process.
  • Actively supports and backs up the Material Planner with the tasks relating to the function/activity.
  • Travelling: approx. 5% - 10% of the time, for short periods.

What experience should you have:

  • Master degree in industrial engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • Strong scheduling and organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks and priorities.
  • Knowledge of inventory and planning basic principles, and a basic understanding of manufacturing and service operations, with product and commodity knowledge preferred.
  • Analytical, problem solving and decision-making skills as well as strong oral and written communication skills required.
  • Computer/ system skills/ MS Office skills, with an emphasis on MS Project, Excel, and ERP (Navision, SAP, BAAN) systems required.
  • Material Management, Planning, or Supply Chain certifications and knowledge of basic 6 Sigma principles preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience in manufacturing of industrial components or in project and/or site management activities related to industrial plants, experience in planning activities for the same type of components/industry will be a plus.
  • Excellent Italian language skills are a must (speaking and writing), fluent in English, Czech language great advantage
  • The respective salary grade within the SC structure will be determined by the candidates relevant skills and experience
