• Develop innovative measurement and analytical approaches that build our understanding of all aspects of our supply chain performance to include forecast variance accuracy at both customer and supplier levels, dynamically informing performance outside of agreed levels to allow for review and resolution
• Design and deliver advanced tools to manage the scheduling of material in the supply chain to achieve the group’s targets
• Aligning contractual agreements and program EOL dates within the planning and operational function to minimise obsolescence while allocating the correct amount of working capital against the customer
• Exposing key supplier performance metrics to enable improvements and successes to be identified and support decision-making on safety stock/service level
• Create and coach best practice logistics principles, policies, and processes across the business to optimise the supply chain
• Support the Setting of, Publish and Monitor Global KPIs/PIs on all aspects of the supply chain (Inbound to Outbound)
• Work with local teams to maximise efficiency on all customer transactions ensuring they have the correct data and analytics to make swift and informed decisions enabling the tracking of action against the outcome
• Deliver solutions to logistics problems while maintaining a high level of quality and customer service within budgetary requirements
• Develop or Onboard then work with logistical equipment suppliers where applicable
• Deliver a customer supply chain calculator to show customer base efficiency savings when using our logistical services
• As part of continuous improvement constantly review new technology and automation initiatives within the marketplace
• Work closely with Global sales teams and logistics managers creating an environment whereby our customers become our supply chain partners
