System Developer

Our partner is an American hedge fund, a quantitative, data driven investment management tech firm. They use computer science, mathematics and other engineering principles to produce high-quality predictive signals focused on exploiting market inefficiencies. We are looking for a talented Systems Developer, who has experience in large-scale distributed environment.


What will be your key responsibilities:

  • Architect and develop services for customers using custom developed and Open Source softwares
  • Develop tools and implement fixes for any issues
  • Collaborate with the colleagues outside and inside your team from all over the world
  • Taking part in periodic on-call duties

What experience should you have:

  • MSc or PHD degree in engineering or related field
  • Outstanding systems development skills (C++/Go/Java)
  • Work experience with Linux based systems
  • Strong background in system deployment and maintenance
  • Familiarity with the following technologies: Kerberos, Gitlab, Helm, Ansible, Docker, Terraform, Grafana or Prometheus
