Talent Acquisition Specialist - German

Our client, a leader in precision dispensing, fluid management, and related technologies, operates in 30 countries and is continuing to expand. As part of this growth, we are seeking an experienced Talent Acquisition Specialist (m/f/d) with a focus on marketing/employer branding to enrich the company's HR department in Maastricht (employment contract under German law with home-office base in Germany and occasional business travel to Maastricht.)

What will be your key responsibilities:

  • Assessing hiring needs and supporting the development of appropriate job descriptions.
  • Posting jobs, advertising, and screening applications/resumes.
  • Conducting pre-screening interviews as appropriate, scheduling interviews.
  • Hosting candidate review meetings with the interview panel for candidate selection.
  • Building applicant sources by researching and contacting universities, employment agencies, recruiters, social media, internet sites, and participating in career fairs and hiring events.
  • Researching, managing, and optimizing contractual relationships with recruitment agencies, job boards, job fairs, university recruiting efforts, and various internet job search websites for posting requisitions.
  • Preparing regular reports concerning hiring trends, sourcing effectiveness, candidate feedback, etc., and providing recommendations to HR staff and/or management, as appropriate.
  • Coordinating the employee referral program.
  • Actively seeking sources and maintaining up-to-date knowledge of recruiting issues and labor market trends, job-related analytics, and ensuring all applicants are moved correctly in the applicant tracking system.
  • Assisting with the development and execution of HR and Management training.
  • Performing and managing regular audits to maintain data integrity.
  • Ensuring KPIs and metrics are met and are in compliance with established service level agreements, baselines, and targets.
  • Supporting the review and updating of content in the knowledge management and case management systems as well as other continuous improvement activities to improve HR Services efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Supporting the development and implementation of policies and programs and aligning with Works Council Liaisons, where needed.
  • Performing other duties as required.

What experience should you have:

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources.
  • Recruitment activity and case management experience, preferably within multiple larger countries in EMEA. Coordination and/or communication preferably in a large, complex organization and/or matrixed environment.
  • Experience using staffing tools such as applicant tracking software, HRIS systems, electronic job boards, social media and candidate sourcing application.
  • Time management skills and the ability to manage and coordinate multiple recruitment activities simultaneously.
  • Must be flexible and able to adapt to shifting priorities.
  • Ability to display initiative in sharing of information and updating information timely.
  • Intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Office (Word/Excel/PowerPoint/Access/Outlook).
  • Excellent communication skills in English & German and preferably another European languages, verbal and written.
  • Strong detail orientation, with focus on data quality.
  • Excellent process orientation which focuses on efficiency without losing sight of customer experience.
  • Good understanding of current technology which includes use of web-based platforms, case management, etc.
