Tester for BI & Data Team 🐙

And who are we looking for?

We're seeking a talented BI Tester to join our team! You'll be responsible for the quality, reliability, and performance of Business Intelligence (BI) solutions. This includes testing queries written in PowerBI (DAX) and Python, as well as ensuring the data visualizations in PowerBI are clear and user-friendly.

You'll thoroughly test BI queries, ensuring they accurately extract and manipulate data. You'll then turn your attention to PowerBI visualizations, making sure they deliver a clear and error-free user experience. Your skills extend beyond SQL – you'll also test and validate Python queries used in data engineering, upholding data integrity and efficiency. To streamline the process, you'll develop and maintain automated test scripts, ensuring the quality of our BI solutions across all releases. Finally, you'll collaborate closely with BI analysts and data engineers, documenting your findings and working together to resolve any issues.

Data stack:

• Power BI, DAX, SQL, Python, …
• Bizzflow (Airflow), Azure SQL Database, Azure Data Lake, Cosmos DB, …

• Experience in testing BI solutions, including hands-on experience with PowerBI (DAX) and Python for data engineering. (This implies understanding of data modeling concepts, SQL, and database systems.)
• Experience with test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, PyTest) is a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively within a team environment.
