We are seeking a highly skilled and strategic Trade Planning Manager to oversee and optimize the forecasting and trade planning efforts across key regions in Germany, including Munich, Frankfurt, Berlin, and Vienna. This role is pivotal in ensuring accurate order forecasting, effective trade marketing execution, price promotion coordination, and seamless collaboration across multiple teams to drive sales and enhance operational efficiency.
Your tasks:
Order Forecasting
- Forecast Development: Utilize statistical models, historical data, and market trends to develop precise order forecasts that support business objectives across the specified regions
- Reporting & Analysis: Prepare and present regular reports on forecasting outcomes, highlighting key insights and actionable recommendations to improve accuracy
- Feedback Loop: Provide continuous feedback to the BI team to refine and enhance forecasting algorithms based on observed performance and evolving market dynamics
- Demand Monitoring: Monitor sales trends, market conditions, and customer behavior patterns to identify factors influencing demand and adjust forecasts as necessary
- Coordination with Operations: Work closely with warehouse and logistics teams to ensure that forecasted orders align with hourly shapes and product availability, optimizing the overall supply chain flow
Trade Planning
- Strategy Development: Assist in developing trade marketing strategies and plans that support regional sales objectives and align with Knuspr overall marketing goals.
- Promotional Analysis: Analyze the effectiveness of trade plans and promotional activities, offering data-driven recommendations to optimize these initiatives and drive sales growth.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Commercial, Finance, Operations, Warehouse, and Logistics, to ensure the smooth execution of order plan and marketing initiatives
- Price Promotion Coordination: Coordinate price promotions to ensure that strong items are nominated to deliver on targets
Who we are looking for
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in trade planning, forecasting, or a similar role, preferably in a fast-paced retail or FMCG environment
- Strong analytical skills with a proven ability to use data to drive decision-making.
