C++ Developer

Our partner is an American hedge fund, a quantitative, data driven investment management tech firm. They use computer science, mathematics and other engineering principles to produce high-quality predictive signals focused on exploiting market inefficiencies. Their technology teams are lean and agile, which means rapid prototyping of products with immediate user feedback and embrace cutting-edge technologies. They seek people who think in code, aspire to solve undiscovered computer science challenges and are motivated by being around like-minded people.

What will be your key responsibilities:

  • Develop C++ code with low latency and high throughput
  • Build mission-critical trading infrastructure
  • Collaborate with portfolio managers to develop new trading systems
  • Modify existing systems to integrate with the next-generation trading platform
  • Research best practices and recommend feature specifications for the platform roadmap

What experience should you have:

  • A Master's degree or PhD in computer science, quantitative or a related field
  • At least 4 years experience in writing high performance C++ (C++16/20, etc)
  • In-depth knowledge of Linux/Unix system fundamentals
  • Excellent communication skills (both hungarian and english)
  • Passion for solving problems, attention to detail
