What will be your key responsibilities:
- Lead the implementation of the procurement processes and process improvements that are defined by the Global Process Responsible (GPR) organization within GBS operations.
- Coordinate and lead planning continuous improvements initiatives as well as project management.
- Meet regularly with the business to ensure needs are met in a timely and accurate fashion.
- Drive continuous improvement of service delivery and service portfolio
- Key stakeholder management and service delivery for GBS Operational teams, executing transactional processing based on policy and legislation requirements.
- GBS contact person for Functional Operations Lead and GPR regarding indirect procurement activities, operations, advancing the digitization of processes and escalating requests to GPR or business partners.
- GBS responsibility for the implementation of services and operational service fulfillment (quality, costs and delivery) through KPIs/SLAs.
- Facilitate cross-training, implement process improvements and ensure adequate controls are in place. Ensure corporate controls and polices are adhered to.
- Identification of requirements regarding IT tools and processes optimization and align with global process responsible.
What experience should you have:
- Degree in Business Studies with majors in Finance, Accounting, Purchasing/Procurement or equivalent.
- At least 8 years of professional experience in Business Services, leading Procurement functions, with a deep understanding of business processes.
- Ability to lead the team of 40 mdemnbers
- Experience in transition, migration, standardization of processes and process improvement methodologies, LEAN Sigma, PMP, Prince2 etc.
- Excellent project management skills and ability of setting priorities in complex environment
- Operational knowledge of Procurement processes, regional differences, and leading practices .
- Ability to manage upwards, work independently and have a service delivery mind-set.
- Experience with cross-cultural teams and work environment
- Business fluent in English (German nice to have)
