Portfolio Manager - Global Public Markets (Equity & Debt)

Responsibilities and Objectives of this Role:

• Identify and evaluate attractive market segments and issuers across global listed equity and credit markets (sector agnostic, but primary coverage of energy, mining and heavy industries)
• Conduct detailed fundamental analysis, peer benchmarking, and valuation
• Develop and maintain financial models and investments theses, integrating macro and micro drivers. Utilize research platforms and market screening tools
• Build and manage a portfolio of minority stakes with strong risk-adjusted return potential
• Actively monitor existing positions, catalysts, and performance
• Present investment ideas and strategic portfolio updates to the CIO and investment committee
• Contribute to the continuous refinement of our investment process and portfolio construction framework

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Minimum 5+ years of relevant experience in portfolio management, equity/credit research, or similar buy-side role (family office, asset manager, or institutional investor)
• Degree in Finance, Economics, or related field; CFA designation (or progress toward it) preferred
• Excellent communication and presentation skills in English
• Fluent Czech/Slovak language
• Strong analytical and valuation skills with commercial judgement and passion for markets
• Hands-on experience with Bloomberg, Excel modelling, and other market intelligence tools
• Independent thinker comfortable working in a lean, entrepreneurial environment
