Quality Assurance Officer

What will be your key responsibilities:

Quality Management System (QMS)

  • Ensure compliance with GDP regulations and internal standards.
  • Develop and manage SOPs, policies, and records.
  • Support other teams with procedures and controls.
  • Report quality trends and KPIs to senior leadership.


Handling Quality Events

  • Oversee customer complaints, deviations, recalls, and product returns.
  • Coordinate investigations and implement corrective actions (CAPAs).
  • Maintain accurate records of all quality-related events.


Training

  • Deliver GDP training to internal teams and partners.
  • Manage training records and qualifications documentation.


Audits & Inspections

  • Plan and conduct internal and external audits.
  • Host regulatory inspections (e.g. SUKL, IGJ).
  • Respond to audit findings and oversee follow-ups.


Supplier & Partner Oversight

  • Manage QA Agreements with suppliers and distributors.
  • Approve and monitor partners for compliance.
  • Check licenses to ensure legal product distribution.

What experience should you have:

Education & Training

  • University degree in Pharmacy or a related field.
  • Additional education in pharmaceutical quality is a plus.
  • Training in GDP, GMP, GVP is required.
  • Auditor or Responsible Person training is desirable.


Experience

  • 5+ years in Quality Assurance or a similar role in pharma/biotech.
  • Experience with GMP, GDP, or GVP audits (preferably in Europe).
  • Familiarity with document control systems and pharmacovigilance.
  • Direct involvement in regulatory inspections is an advantage.


Skills & Qualities

  • Fluent in Czech and English; other languages are a bonus.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Analytical, decisive, and calm under pressure.
  • Organized, proactive, and detail-oriented.
  • Comfortable with software systems like SAP, MS Dynamics 365.
