REGIONAL STRATEGY PLANNER / CONSULTANT

We are looking for an experienced Strategy Planner / Consultant to join our media division of Publicis Groupe to help us manage the biggest media activations for our key international client, The LEGO Group. The position is based in Prague and is part of the team overseeing and managing media operations for 21 markets in the CEEMEA region (Central and Eastern Europe, Middle East, and Africa).

The perfect candidate has a minimum of 3-5 years of experience with media strategy and media planning (media mix TVC, OOH, digital, etc.) ideally from media agency or international FMCG environment on the client side. 

About the Role

You will act as a consultant and mentor to local market teams, helping them shape, evaluate, and refine their media strategies. The role is highly hands-on and involves close cooperation across markets of varying maturity and sophistication.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic consultancy and mentorship to local markets on media planning and execution.
  • Support markets in developing or refining their media strategies in line with the LEGO Playbook and global frameworks.
  • Translate complex ideas and strategies into clear, actionable recommendations for markets with different levels of experience.
  • Evaluate and interpret data from various sources (e.g., GWI, consumer insights, MMM models, brand research) to identify trends and opportunities.
  • Implement global insights and learnings across BUs, ensuring local adaptation and relevance.
  • Partner with creative and media teams to recommend optimal media mix, formats, and creative approaches across different budget levels and channels.
  • Leverage and learn internal tools (e.g., CX Tool, Sufficiency Framework, Growth OS, cross-media planning tools) to drive efficiency and alignment with global standards.
  • Collaborate across diverse cultures ensuring effective communication and partnership.

Required Skills & Experience

Media Strategy

  • Proven expertise in media planning, ideally with agency background.
  • Strong understanding of digital and traditional media, including flighting, cross-media optimization, reach and frequency management.
  • Experience adapting media strategies to diverse market conditions and business objectives.

Data & Insights

  • Skilled in working with data tools and interpreting insights (GWI, MMM, consumer and brand research).
  • Ability to identify actionable insights and translate them into strategy recommendations.

Soft Skills

  • Excellent communication, organizational skills (ideally experience with mentoring)
  • Hands-on and proactive approach with the ability to drive clarity and alignment.
  • Fast learner capable of mastering new frameworks and tools.
  • Collaborative mindset and ability to navigate complex stakeholder environments.
  • Full project independence and responsibility for the delivery
  • English language is absolute must because of regional scope of work
