Senior Data Scientist

• Lead and execute data science projects from conception to deployment, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
• Develop and implement advanced statistical models and machine learning algorithms to solve complex business problems.
• Analyzing, assessing and evaluation complex data structure and processes, developing viable and effective data models.
• Analyze large, complex datasets to extract actionable insights and identify trends and patterns.
• Oversee data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes to ensure data quality and integrity.
• Assuming E2E responsibility for strategically aligned data science projects, from taking stock of requirements and advising through to go-live
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate data science solutions into business processes and enhance decision-making.
• Design experiments and validate models to ensure robustness and reliability.
• Communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders through clear and compelling visualizations and reports.
• Preparing cost cases and techno-economic evaluations
• Mentor and provide guidance to junior data scientists and analysts, fostering a culture of learning and growth.
• Stay updated on the latest data science techniques and industry trends to continuously improve methodologies and tools.

• University degree (Bachelor or Master) in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in IT or 3 years of experience in data engineering, with a focus on ETL processes and data integration.
• Proven experience as a data scientist, with a track record of successful projects and implementations.
• Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Python and SQL.
• Experience with cloud platform (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and/or big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark).
• Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and their data structures.
• English (fluent); German (fluent-optional)
• Experience with some IT management tool (JIRA, CAPE, JIRA@BR)
• Strong communication and moderation skills, proactive, high reliability, self-organized and solution-oriented working
