Senior HR Representative - 32 hours per week

Our client is a leader in precision dispensing, fluid management, and related technologies in 30 countries. They are located in Maastricht, the Netherlands, and they are looking for a Senior HR Representative (m/f/d) with  Dutch, English & ideally German who will cover the maternity leave (1 year) and be a part of the Global Business Services HR Services team.

What will be your key responsibilities:

  • Providing personalized, excellent support to internal customers (employees, managers) by answering their queries and processing their requests in a timely, professional, and welcoming manner.  
  • Using a case management tool to enter, track, and respond to all activities efficiently, and meet service levels set out in Service Level Agreements.
  • Coordinating incoming and outgoing employee administration.
  • Supporting and responding to employee issues/inquiries on HR policies, employee relations, compensation and benefits, vacation, leave of absences, sickness handling, and disciplinary Investigations.
  • Training inquiries and generation of HR related reports.
  • Serving as a resource for new hire orientations.
  • Ensuring proper record keeping, the confidentiality of cases and employee information, and the integrity of HRIS data.
  • Ensuring compliance with all government and employment law regulations, including Works Council regulations where applicable, and ensuring that HR policies and procedures are updated as required.
  • Performing regular audits to maintain data integrity.
  • Supporting the review and updating of content in the knowledge management and case management systems, as well as other continuous improvement activities to improve HR Services' efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Assisting in additional activities, translation support for policies, and documentation.

What experience should you have:

  • Several years of experience in the field of Human Resources.
  • Expert knowledge of HR regulations in the Netherlands is required; HR knowledge in Germany is preferred.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in Dutch (fluent), English (fluent). German is an advantage.
  • Highly organized and strong detail orientation with a strong customer service orientation.
  • Able to work collaboratively across all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to multi-task and change priorities quickly, strong detail orientation, with a focus on data quality.
  • Excellent process orientation, which focuses on efficiency without losing sight of customer experience.
