Strategic Business Development Manager (Financial Services)

We are looking for a Strategic Business Development Manager for Financial Services to join our team.

In this role, you will act as a driving force behind new technologies and business models. You will identify and evaluate strategic fields of action based on the company’s overall strategy and business potential within the Financial Services domain. You will advise top management on technical and strategic matters related to the product portfolio.

What will be your key responsibilities:

  • Develop end-to-end value propositions for specific product lines within Financial Services, working closely with the central product organization as well as commercial and marketing teams in the countries.
  • Conduct market and customer analyses to assess market potential and perform trend analyses.
  • Prepare profitability assessments and identify portfolio gaps, opportunities, and implementation measures.
  • Develop business cases and business models for new and existing business, evaluating their impact on the overall portfolio and supporting decision-making.
  • Perform risk and feasibility analyses in close collaboration with relevant stakeholders.
  • Manage strategic projects.

We work in a HYBRID STYLE of working.

What experience should you have:

  • Degree focused on engineering, business administration, or a comparable field
  • Several years of professional experience in business development
  • Strong experience with financial services and related industry dynamics
  • Extensive experience in both classic and agile forms of collaboration, particularly in leading major projects or programs
  • Proven experience working in an international and intercultural environment
  • Excellent ability to assess business opportunities and digital business models
  • Strong understanding of market dynamics and the relevant product portfolio
  • Ability to develop and apply a holistic perspective
  • Expert knowledge in market research and trend scouting
