Tunisian French Copywriter

What will be your key responsibilities:

We’re looking for a skilled Tunisian French copywriter and translator to help shape the voice of a new FinTech mobile app built specifically for the Tunisian market. You’ll take full ownership of all French-language content in the product and across select marketing materials, ensuring linguistic precision and cultural authenticity. This is a freelance role with flexible hours, ideal for someone fluent in digital products and passionate about localised storytelling.

What you’ll do

  • Manage and maintain the full Tunisian French version of the mobile app
  • Translate in-app copy updates from English to Tunisian French (approx. twice a week)
  • Collaborate with the Marketing team to keep the Tunisian French version of the product website up to date
  • Translate and adapt various marketing materials, including: Landing pages, Push notifications, Banner ads and campaign assets
  • Contribute to larger translation projects, such as full translation of the mobile app (~3,000 keys / ~12,000 words) and a new product website currently in development
  • Stay available for minor ad-hoc requests and quick-turnaround copy tasks during regular working hours
  • Join remote team meetings and collaborate closely with Product and Marketing stakeholders

What we’re looking for

  • Native-level fluency in Tunisian French with excellent English skills
  • Proven experience in copywriting and translation for digital products, ideally mobile apps or FinTech
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain consistent tone and terminology
  • Deep understanding of the cultural and linguistic nuances of the Tunisian market
  • Familiarity with localisation tools (e.g. Lokalise) is a strong plus
