Account Executive DACH (Dusseldorf)

The role is all about selling complex E-commerce & Digital solutions to German market and is meant to be for a self-motivated IT and sales enthusiast who already has good sales experience in customer acquisition & account management.

  • In the beginning, the role will be mainly about acquiring new clients. You will get 2-3 clients for the start but you need to actively look for new clients and build your own client portfolio.
  • All solutions (average deal size 600K EUR) are highly customized so you need to know how to sell custom development solutions. That means you need to:

- listen & ask a lot of questions,

- understand client's business needs

- have SW project management skills

- be creative and improvise to come up with the first quick wins/small projects

  • Your territory will be German market. You need to be prepared for online calls & visiting clients, using Linkedin Sales Navigator for prospecting, presenting in English most of the time, and creating different sales strategies on how to approach new clients. On the other hand, you will have access to:

    - reliable success stories to create customer interest

    - clients referrals

    - Leads - from vendors (Kentico), PPC campaigns,

  • You will be selling primarly ECM, Sitecore & Kentico solutions (Ecommerce + websites + content)
  • You will get help from Sales Leader, and other team members (consultants, architects, and even owners at some points).
  • You will need to coordinate an internal delivery team to achieve important milestones in the sales life cycle.
  • Sales quotas and KPIs will be determined along the interview process with the Sales Director
  • The successful candidate will be located in Düsseldorf, Germany with the ability to travel on-site to our headquarters in Prague, Czech Republic for training and brainstorming sessions as needed.

What will be your key responsibilities:

  • Generating new business (direct B2B sales).
  • Discover, research and qualify new sales opportunities through networking, LinkedIn, emails and cold-calling.
  • You will focus on creating market share by selling digital transformation projects to customers in international markets.
  • Establishing call plans and customer follow-up strategies and tactics.
  • Developing and maintaining relationships with new clients and existing clients.
  • Negotiating and closing deals.
  • Effectively managing client expectations.
  • Maintaining an in-depth knowledge of approved products and services.
  • Keeping the CRM system updated.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, and Actum features and service information. Collaborate in a team environment with the Sales team, and partner with Presales Solutions Consultants, Account Managers, Customer Success, Product, etc.

What experience should you have:

  • You are well-structured. You can describe in detail how you closed some big custom sales development deals. You have some technical background/understanding.
  • You can generate leads by yourself (which means you are proactive). Not just waiting for some unqualified leads that will be provided by Actum. You can build a sustainable go-to-market strategy.
  • You are looking for solutions.
  • You are creative and you can interestingly present your thoughts.
  • You are fluent in German and English
