Accounting Process Manager

As a process manager, you will be mainly responsible for the implementation and management of cross-border accounting projects related to asset accounting.

What will be your key responsibilities:

  • Analysis of processes and identification of optimization opportunities
  • Evaluation and realisation of process improvements to ensure cost reduction and increase of efficiency and/or quality
  • Roll-out of the financial accounting processes related to the central SAP ERP system
  • Execution of assessments and Fit/Gap process analyses
  • Implementation and monitoring of Key Performance Indicators (KPI)
  • Implementation of workflows
  • Optimization of organisational aspects (e.g. allocation of work items to staff)
  • Support of roll-in projects to integrate further accounting functions into the SSC
  • Development of concepts as basis for the realisation of IT improvements
  • Development of training material and conduction of in-house-trainings for staff
  • Status reporting of your projects in front of the Board on a national and international basis.
  • Regular communication of project status with the heads of departments


What experience should you have:

  • We are seeking a candidate who possesses fluency in English, both written and verbal. 
  • The ideal candidate should hold a university degree in Economy or Accounting, and have a minimum of three years' experience in accounting and project management.
  • You will have practical experience in designing and implementing process improvements, as well as having technical expertise in accounting and/or finance-related issues and corresponding processes.
  • Additionally, you should have at least a basic understanding of IFRS and SAP.
  • We are seeking an analytical mindset that can work towards the efficient and responsible completion of tasks, with both team and customer satisfaction in mind.
  • Willingness to travel (occasionally) as needed to support the project.
