• Strategically plan and manage production capacity.
• Identify and select appropriate production technologies and methodologies.
• Develop processes and create assembly sequences, documenting them with flowcharts in tools like Visio, especially for new projects.
• Utilize industrial engineering techniques to determine the time required for each process step and assembly (using MTM methods).
• Evaluate the feasibility of manufacturing, considering both design for assembly and design for manufacturing principles, and participate in process risk assessments (Process-FMEAs).
• Conduct cost analyses for different product and process options, considering investments and assembly times.
• Develop and document precise process specifications, and recommend ergonomic improvements.
• Define manufacturing equipment specifications and provide recommendations for procurement.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to successfully launch new products and implement industrialization processes in dedicated plants.
• Lead or participate in activities focused on analyzing manufacturing operations, continuously improving ongoing processes, and implementing lean manufacturing strategies.
