Our client is a global manufacturer and distributor of Industrial Fastenings with 30+ sites worldwide. The company is seeking for an AP Team Leader, who would play a fundamental role in the successful running of the company's financial operations.

What will be your key responsibilities:

Lead and manage the accounts payable team to ensure efficient outcomes for both customers and the business.
Act as an escalation point for team members, providing support as needed.
Coach and develop team members through one-on-one sessions and group meetings.
Ensure adherence to department processes and best practices.
Oversee invoice processing and monthly supplier statement reconciliations.
Maintain accurate financial records, including the general ledger.
Foster strong supplier relationships and resolve queries promptly.
Prepare account analyses and assist with month-end closing.
Provide detailed transaction explanations and audit documentation.
Perform additional duties as needed.

What experience should you have:

Degree in Finance and Accounting.
Experience in a leadership role within an Accounts Payable team.
Strong communication skills in English, with the ability to interact effectively with others.
Solid understanding of general accounting principles and procedures.
Knowledge of IFRS standards is preferred.
