AP Team Leader

Our client is a global manufacturer and distributor of Industrial Fastenings with 30+ sites worldwide. The company is seeking for an AP Team Leader, who would play a fundamental role in the successful running of the company's financial operations.

What will be your key responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the accounts payable team to ensure efficient outcomes for both customers and the business.
  • Act as an escalation point for team members, providing support as needed.
  • Coach and develop team members through one-on-one sessions and group meetings.
  • Ensure adherence to department processes and best practices.
  • Oversee invoice processing and monthly supplier statement reconciliations.
  • Maintain accurate financial records, including the general ledger.
  • Foster strong supplier relationships and resolve queries promptly.
  • Prepare account analyses and assist with month-end closing.
  • Provide detailed transaction explanations and audit documentation.
  • Perform additional duties as needed.

What experience should you have:


  • Degree in Finance and Accounting.
  • Experience in a leadership role within an Accounts Payable team.
  • Strong communication skills in English, with the ability to interact effectively with others.
  • Solid understanding of general accounting principles and procedures.
  • Knowledge of IFRS standards is preferred.
