Business Development Specialist

About Us:  At 835labs Venture Studio, we are dedicated to building technology superstars. Our ventures primarily focus on B2B (and occasionally B2C) markets, developing cutting-edge solutions and innovative products by leveraging the assets of our corporate partner – a global tech giant with more than 10 billion USD in sales per year. We are seeking a dynamic and strategic B2B Business Development Specialist to join our team and drive growth through direct sales support.


 

What will be your key responsibilities:

Key Responsibilities

  • Sales Support: Work closely with our ventures to support B2B sales activities, providing insights, strategies, and direct assistance to close deals.
  • Market Analysis: Conduct comprehensive market research to identify potential customers, opportunities, and the competitive landscape.
  • GTM & Sales Strategy Development: Develop and implement effective sales and GTM strategies tailored to different market segments and customer needs.
  • Customer Relationship Management: Build and nurture strong, long-term relationships with customers, ensuring mutual benefit and sustained engagement.
  • Lead Generation: Identify and pursue new business opportunities to generate leads and drive revenue growth.
  • Sales Ramp-Up: Plan and execute initiatives to accelerate sales growth and achieve revenue targets.
  • Sales Performance Tracking: Monitor and report on sales activities, using data-driven insights to track KPIs and measure success.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams within 835labs to ensure cohesive execution of sales strategies and alignment with business goals.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in business development, sales, or sales management, preferably in a B2B environment.
  • Strong network in relevant industries and a track record of successfully closing sales deals.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to translate market insights into actionable sales strategies.
  • Passion for innovation and a deep understanding of the startup ecosystem.
  • Expertise in Tech companies.
  • Nice to have: Experience in setting up and improving operational processes for sales.
