Commercial Contracts Coordinator (Legal Specialist)

We are looking for a colleague to support the team in preparing all legally relevant documents and records for legally compliant commission settlement. The main focus of the role is to: 

  • Independently coordinating requirements from the business teams within operational sales, as well as from commission settlement team and the central legal department, to implement business as well as terms-and-conditions models in the German market.
  • Drafting and preparing the resulting contractual documents (Sales partner contracts, side agreements, terms-and-conditions agreements for external sales partners).

What will be your key responsibilities:

  • Coordinating all activities related to contractual documentationfor commission settlement, particularly in connection with the introduction and modification of business and pricing models in the German market.
  • Coordinating and aligning requirements with specialist teams in operational sales, sales management, and commission settlement.
  • Drafting legal contracts and documents in close collaboration with the central legal department and obtaining the required approvals.
  • Managing the entire process from requirements gathering through to final drafting and approval of all contractual documents.
  • Advising business departments on possible courses of action under existing agreements and in response to queries from external partners.
  • Identifying risks of potential breaches of contract and initiating remedial measures. 

What experience should you have:

  • Degree in economics or law or have completed vocational training combined with several years’ professional experience dealing with legal issues in contract law.
  • Ability to draft complex texts
  • Legal experience 
  • Experience in coordinating complex tasks involving interdisciplinary teams.
  • Experience in cross-team and cross-departmental collaboration
