Fund and Controlling Manager

What will be your key responsibilities:

Responsibilities will include but will not be limited to:
  • Participation and later overseeing and managing the financial, accounting, legal, and administrative tasks of various corporate structures
  • Liaising with accountants, auditors, banks, and legal counsels
  • Participation in monthly and quarterly reports, semi-annual budgeting
  • Participation in various company transactions (e.g., acquisition, merger, the establishment of a new structure)
  • Participation in the preparation of the quarterly reports of 3 active investment funds
  • Participation in corporate operations in several countries: Hungary, Czech Republic, Luxembourg, USA
  • Participation in the operation of the Oriens Group, transparency of the operation of investment funds, holding companies, and consulting companies, support of financial and administrative processes

Other administrative tasks:
  • Transparency and assurance of the operation of the finance/admin team
  • Approving and occasionally recording bank transfers
  • Management of fund transaction tables, administration of accounts
  • Leading and supervising the work of the Finance team

What experience should you have:

Oriens is currently looking for a colleague who has
  • MA or higher degree,
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience, preferably in company accounting, controlling, auditing, and legal administration. Experience at Big4 company is a great advantage.
  • experience in managing corporate legal structures, preferably in various jurisdictions,
  • experience in supervising a team,
  • fluent and professional English in speaking and writing,
  • fluent Czech or Slovak in speaking and writing is a great advantage,
  • experienced user of MS Office applications,
  • professional demeanor, dedication to hard work, willingness to learn, openness to the world,
  • agile, able to work independently, excellence in project management,
  • attention to detail, and accuracy.
