GBS TAX Accountant Expert with German language

We are building a new team of tax experts within the GBS (Global Business Services) Centre. Are you someone who has previous experience with taxes or VAT? We are looking for you!

What will be your key responsibilities:

GBS Tax organization is responsible for the efficiency, effectiveness, and quality of services related to local compliance. GBS Tax Operations main responsibility is to perform tax compliance activities centrally with high quality according to local tax regulations:

  • Management of tax compliance in relation to indirect taxes, WHT and corporate income tax including support of tax audits
  • Management of business support regarding taxes
  • Provide business support regarding tax compliance
  • Contribute to efficient tax compliance processes and in particular continuous improvement

  • Processing of tasks for indirect taxation, WHT and corporate income tax from a governance perspective
  • Compliance of tax processes (improvement and development)
  • Preparations of tax returns and for tax registrations abroad, support to tax audits
  • Partner for questions and issues arising from projects or daily business concerning tax compliance
  • Identification and evaluation of risks, reporting of identified and evaluated risks
  • Continuously monitors performance measures, proposing and implementing process improvement to increase process consistency, quality, efficiency and effectiveness. Ensures visibility of the service organization's performance.
  • Contributes to mitigation of risk

What experience should you have:

  • University degree in business administration or relevant
  • At least 5 years of experience in tax in an international company or Big 4
  • Advanced level of SAP and MS Excel
  • General overview in tax principles or complex accounting
  • Business competence and intercultural competence
  • Processual mindset and hands-on mentality,
  • Good team working skills but also independent personality able to prioritize work
  • Methodological and problem-solving competencies
