Group Financial Controller/Finance Business Partner - Prague

Role Description:

Sev.en Global Investments is looking for a Group Financial Controller / Finance Business Partner to join our international finance team in Prague.

You will become part of the Group Finance function, responsible for financial oversight and consistent reporting across Sev.en GI Group and its international investments, including Australia and the US.

We are looking for an experienced finance professional who enjoys working in an international environment, can operate independently, and likes being close to the business. The role combines financial controlling, business partnering and analytical work, with direct exposure to senior management across the Group.

Initially, this will be a standalone role, covering part of the international portfolio. You will work closely with local management teams, as well as with the Group Finance team based in Prague, acting as a key financial link between headquarters and our international investments.

What will be your key responsibilities:

Overseeing financial planning and analysis, including budgets and forecasts for assigned investments
Tracking, analysing and explaining budget variances; preparing monthly management reports
Monitoring business performance and providing insights, recommendations and financial support to management
Preparing and reviewing financial analyses for decision-making, including sensitivity and scenario models
Supporting group-level forecasting and budgeting on a consolidated basis
Recommending improvements to financial processes, reporting and internal controls
Supporting and coordinating finance-related processes such as tax, audit and statutory reporting
Reviewing financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance

What experience should you have:

University degree in finance, economics or a related field
Relevant experience in a similar controlling or finance role (ideally around 5 years in Big4 and/or an in-house finance team)
Fluency in English and Czech
Strong analytical skills with a practical, solution-oriented mindset
A collaborative team player who can also work independently
ACCA or CFA qualification is an advantage, but not a must
