What will be your key responsibilities:

What will be Your daily tasks?
  • Track, check, and mainly CONSOLIDATE payroll inputs (prepared by departments managers) based on the attendance for payroll processing (e.g. illness, doctor visit confirmations, etc.) based on Slovak legislation for 500 employees in GBS Trnava
  • Communication with payroll provider – 3rd party (external provider)
  • Assist in maintaining dedicated employee records and files, HR-related needs such as training providers coordination, benefits provider coordination (you will also act as HR Professional/HR Business Partner for a small department – 15 employees)
  • Assist in informing employees of human resource policies and programs as needed
  • Act as an advisor for employees regarding payroll and attendance
  • Manage small projects related to attendance and payroll for process optimization and identify areas of automation or an improvement

What experience should you have:

  • Experience with payroll processes – you do not need to calculate or process payroll, only understand the inputs and all aspects of salary calculations to be able to advise employees on their questions /experience with attendance consolidation is a must/
  • Understanding of Slovak Labor Code /is a must/
  • Advanced knowledge of English – B2
  • Very good communicational skills
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Excel /ideally familiar with pivot tables, macro use/, Outlook, and MS Teams
  • Detailed-oriented
  • Ability of multitasking
  • Willing to learn new things
