International Sales Support & Customer Service Specialist - German

The company is looking for a Sales Support & Customer Service Specialist (m/f/d) to assist its international clients from the Unterensingen office.

What will be your key responsibilities:

  • Handling daily order entry, processing, and expedition of orders.
  • Monitoring production statuses.
  • Responding to customer requests and inquiries.
  • Coordinating special shipping instructions with the Shipping Department.
  • Independent and structured way of working.
  • Assisting the global sales team with various functions.
  • Understanding the language of international business, including a letter of credit, proforma, CADs (Cash Against Documents), certificate of origin, and export freight terms.
  • Provide support to our national and international trade partners and field sales representatives via phone and email.
  • Manage order processing from entry to delivery, acting as a liaison between customers, warehouse/shipping, and production.
  • Prepare quotations and ensure accurate documentation of deliveries in compliance with export regulations.
  • Correspond fluently in both German and English.

What experience should you have:

  • Manage partner relationships: You'll provide support to our retail partners and field staff through phone and email, ensuring their needs are met promptly and professionally.
  • Order management: From entry to delivery, you'll oversee the order fulfillment process, ensuring a smooth operation and timely delivery.
  • Liaison work: Act as a vital link between customers and internal teams, including warehouse, shipping, and production, to facilitate effective communication and operations.
  • Proposal development: Prepare detailed proposals tailored to customer requirements.
  • Documentation preparation: Handle the creation of shipping documents, ensuring compliance with relevant export regulations.
  • Bilingual correspondence: Engage in correspondence with stakeholders in both German and English, maintaining clarity and professionalism in communication.
