Power BI Reporting Manager

We are looking for a detail-oriented Reporting Manager to provide reporting solutions for internal customers within Deutsche Telekom Group.

What will be your key responsibilities:

  • Responsibility for the deliveries towards customer
  • Analysis, coordinating and feasibility evaluation of customer requirements
  • Design of reporting solution (data sources analysis, collection of data, defining reporting structure and visualisation, ensuring security and compliance regulations)
  • Dataset preparation - KPI calculation knowledge, query building (e.g. iCubes, Tabular models, SQL, AfO, SAP HANA Studio)
  • Design of complex report visualisation in frontend tools (e.g. Excel, PowerPoint, ThinkCell, PowerBI, MicroStrategy, SAP Analytical Cloud)
  • Overall responsibility for data quality assurance (e.g. logical and technical checks implementation, deltas verification)
  • Ensuring monthly delivery of high-complexity reporting products
  • Managing report changes and rebuilds (e.g. YE conversion, changes in reporting and business structures)
  • Driving process improvements, automation, digitalization, efficiency
  • Working in international teams
  • Managing smaller projects, presentations to management
  • Training activities within the team on certain topics and processes

What experience should you have:

Reporting skills:

  • Data Warehousing (ability to collect data from different information sources) – advanced
  • Data Analytics (interpretation and classification of data; ability to process and present data to the recipient in an intelligible format) – expert
  • Concept Development (focus on an end-to-end perspective; from idea to implementation) – advanced

IT skills:

  • MS Excel – advanced
  • BI tools:
    - Data analysis tools (e.g. Analysis for Office, MS Access, SQL) – advanced
    - Data visualization tools (e.g. PowerPoint, ThinkCell, PowerBI, MicroStrategy, SAP Analytical Cloud, etc.) – advanced
  • SAP (especially Modules FI/CO/BW/BI/FC) - beneficial

  • Deep knowledge of the relevant economic and financial figures and facts
  • Communication and presentation skills

  • Ability to plan and organize work
  • Knowledge of concept and principles of agile methods of working
