Purchasing Academy Leader & Conflict Minerals

We are looking for a skilled person in field of procurement who wants to share his knowledge with other colleagues!

What will be your key responsibilities:

As Academy Leader, you will participate in the creation and development of the Purchasing Academy. At the same time, part of your role will be to handle all the Conflict Minerals declarations.

What will be your main tasks?
  • Contribute to guarantee a high level of training design, delivery, and evaluation to transmit Marelli Purchasing Culture and teach Marelli Purchasing’s way of working
  • Manage external supplier of Purchasing Academy for what concerns the general planning and the technical development of every course/quiz / Gamification news
  • Develop and deploy courses focusing on processes, fundamental topics of the organization, technical skill training
  • Develop and deploy exercises, tests, and quizzes to challenge the Purchasing Community to test their knowledge and increase their confidence in rules and processes
  • Develop and deploy new histories to drive the Purchasing Gamification
  • Develop and deploy solutions to make sure that the entire Purchasing Community is involved and engaged in the Academy training programs
  • Prepare and coordinate periodical award of best performers
  • Continuously update Purchasing Academy
  • Actively identify opportunities to develop new training methods and tools
  • Periodically update the Training Catalogue

As Conflict Minerals Specialist you will be responsible for:
  • Define the list of suppliers to be enquired for Conflict Minerals
  • Verify if there are some changes in the Conflict Minerals
  • Define the list of the Customers that need the MARELLI Conflict Minerals report template
  • Fix the deadlines for each step of the Conflict Minerals process
  • Prepare the communications to be sent to the suppliers
  • Via GBS Mexico, launch the collection of suppliers’ Conflict Minerals declarations, monitor and support suppliers’ activities progress
  • Monitor the progress of the activities via a report consolidated by GBS Mexico
  • Manage the cases of supplier exceptions
  • Aggregate data to elaborate the Marelli general Conflict Minerals report and diffuse to the Conflict Minerals coordinator for diffusion to the final Customers

What experience should you have:

  • Experience in the field of Procurement of at least 2 years
  • University degree in a relevant field
  • Fluent knowledge of the English language
  • Experience with learning management systems is a big plus
  • PC savvy
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Excel
  • Very good communication and presentation skills
  • People skills
  • Open to innovations
  • CAN DO attitude
