Salesforce Administrator

As Assistant Salesforce Administrator, you’ll play a vital role in our team. We are looking for a proactive individual that can help continually improve and enhance out Salesforce Sales and Service Cloud platform, gathering requirements and feedback, and designing best practice solutions. Our Reef Salesforce user experience is of great importance; therefore, the Assistant Salesforce Administrator should enjoy all aspects of user management including support tickets (Jira), training, and designing solutions with user satisfaction as a top priority.

This position reports to the Sr Salesforce Administrator within the IT Operations’ Enterprise Applications Division.

What will be your key responsibilities:

Strategy & Planning:

• Design, document, build, test and deploy enhancements to Salesforce custom objects, page layouts, workflows, alerts, reports and dashboards within Salesforce.

• Understand business needs to suggest and implement changes to Salesforce to increase data quality, efficiency and user adoption.

• Promote Salesforce and pipeline management best practices.

• Promote, increase and monitor user adoption and ensure user satisfaction.

Operational Management:

• Supervision of L1 documentation to ensure all aspects of user and license management including new user setup/deactivation, roles, profiles, permissions, public groups are up to Reef standard.

• User support tickets

• Identify and gather requirements from users and stakeholders

• Salesforce configuration changes, including (but not limited to): Workflow, Process Builder, flows, fields, page layouts, record types, custom settings, dashboards and reports

• Monitor user adoption

• User training and creating training materials

What experience should you have:

Formal Education & Certification:

• College diploma or university degree in the field of computer science, information systems, and/or 2 years equivalent work experience.

• Certified Salesforce Administrator

Knowledge & Experience:

• Salesforce product knowledge and 2 year of hands-on administration experience with Sales Cloud.

• Proven experience with troubleshooting principles, methodologies, and issue resolution techniques.

• Able to develop and interpret technical documentation for training and end user procedures.

• Good understanding of the organization’s goals and objectives.

• A proactive attitude to platform enhancements

• A desire to implement best practice solutions

• Available and responsive to questions

• Excellent relationship-building skills and ability to liaise with stakeholders at all levels

• Gathering requirements and proposing technical solutions

• Training users and creating training materials

• Understanding of Salesforce sharing and security (roles, profiles, permissions, OWD, sharing rules)

• Experience implementing Salesforce configuration changes including (but not limited to): Workflow, Process Builder, fields, page layouts, record types, custom settings, dashboards and reports
