About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Senior Salesforce Marketing Cloud Consultant to join our growing Salesforce practice. In this role you will work directly with clients to design, implement, and optimise sophisticated marketing automation solutions built on Salesforce Marketing Cloud Engagement and Marketing Cloud Advanced Edition.

As a Salesforce Summit Partner, we deliver complex, multi-cloud programmes where technical depth, strategic thinking and client partnership go hand in hand. You will be a key contributor to our Marketing Cloud capability – helping clients unlock the full potential of personalised, data-driven customer journeys.

Role Context

Actum Digital is a global digital consultancy specialising in AI, CRM, cloud applications, and digital experience.

Our Salesforce practice covers the full cloud portfolio; Marketing Cloud sits at the heart of our customer engagement offering.

You will work on projects spanning SMB to enterprise clients across Europe and the USA.

You will collaborate closely with Salesforce architects, CRM consultants, data engineers, and client stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

Technical Implementation

Design and implement end-to-end marketing automation solutions in Marketing Cloud Engagement (formerly ExactTarget) and Marketing Cloud Advanced Edition.

Build and maintain complex customer journeys in Journey Builder, including multi-step, multi-channel, and event-triggered flows.

Develop and maintain Email Studio assets: responsive HTML/CSS email templates, content blocks, dynamic content, and personalisation using AMPscript and Server-Side JavaScript (SSJS).

Configure and manage MobileConnect (SMS), MobilePush, and WhatsApp channels within Marketing Cloud Engagement.

Administer and optimise Marketing Cloud Connect (Salesforce CRM integration), including synchronised data extensions, triggered sends, and subscriber management.

Work with Automation Studio to build complex automation workflows, data imports, and scheduled/triggered activities.

Develop and manage data extensions, attribute groups, and data relationships within Contact Builder / Data Designer.

Marketing Cloud Advanced & Data Cloud

Implement Marketing Cloud Advanced Edition capabilities including advanced segmentation, real-time personalisation, and AI-powered send-time optimisation (Einstein features).

Work with Data Cloud or Salesforce CDP for unified customer profile creation, identity resolution, and segment activation into Marketing Cloud.

Build and activate Data Cloud segments and activation targets across Marketing Cloud channels

Functional & Consultative Responsibilities

Lead client discovery workshops to gather and document business requirements for marketing automation initiatives.

Translate complex marketing business requirements into scalable, best-practice technical solutions.

Produce solution design documents, technical architecture diagrams, and functional specifications.

Advise clients on Marketing Cloud governance, data hygiene, subscriber management, and deliverability best practices.

Support pre-sales activities including scoping, estimations, solution presentations, and proof-of-concept builds.

Delivery & Collaboration

Work within agile delivery frameworks; contribute to sprint planning, backlog refinement, and retrospectives.

Collaborate with architects, data engineers, and CRM consultants on integrated multi-cloud solutions. 

What experience should you have:

Candidate Profile

Required – Marketing Cloud Engagement (Technical)

5+ years of hands-on Salesforce Marketing Cloud implementation experience.

Deep expertise in Journey Builder, Email Studio, Content Builder, Automation Studio, and Mobile Studio.

Proficiency in AMPscript and SSJS for advanced personalisation and dynamic content.

Strong SQL skills for data segmentation and Automation Studio query activities.

Solid understanding of Marketing Cloud data model: data extensions, sendable/non-sendable, relationships, and contact model.

Hands-on experience with Marketing Cloud Connect (Salesforce CRM ↔ MC integration).

Knowledge of email deliverability principles, IP warming, and sender authentication (SPF, DKIM, DMARC).

Marketing Cloud Email Specialist and/or Marketing Cloud Consultant certification (required).

Required – Marketing Cloud Advanced / Data Cloud

Experience implementing or working with Marketing Cloud Advanced Edition features.

Working knowledge of Data Cloud: data streams, identity resolution, unified profiles, segment creation, and activation.

Understanding of Data Cloud data model concepts and consent management framework.

Ability to design cross-cloud solutions spanning Marketing Cloud, Data Cloud, and Sales/Service Cloud.

Beneficial – Agentforce & Advanced AI

Familiarity with Agentforce platform and experience building or configuring AI agents.

Experience with Einstein for Marketing Cloud features (predictive scoring, STO, content recommendations).

Understanding of how Agentforce agents can be orchestrated within customer journey automation.

Data Cloud Consultant certification or Agentforce Specialist certification is a strong plus.

Soft Skills & General

Excellent client-facing communication and stakeholder management skills.

Ability to facilitate workshops, lead discovery sessions, and present solution designs to non-technical audiences.

Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail and a problem-solving approach.

Self-motivated, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced consultancy environment.

Fluent English (spoken and written); Czech and/or German is an advantage.
