The scope of this role is intentionally broad — it’s a starting point for something bigger. Over time, you’ll have the opportunity to expand your responsibilities and potentially take over Field Sales Teams as part of your wider leadership remit

What will be your key responsibilities:

As Senior KAM, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing key accounts and spearheading the strategic growth of business in Slovakia. You will have the opportunity to build and develop a high-performing team while collaborating closely with cross-functional departments to achieve our sales objectives and strengthen clients´ market position.

The scope for a role may seem wide, but this is a starting point and the plan is to grow the team and later on possibly take over the field sales teams; however, this role requires a hands-on approach. 


👥 Team Leadership

Lead and inspire a growing team, starting with one Key Account Manager. Provide coaching, guidance, and mentorship to ensure team and individual success. In the next phase, you’ll likely take over the Field Sales Team as well.

📈 Strategic Business Development

Identify new business opportunities, shape sales strategies, and build long-term partnerships with key FMCG stakeholders that strengthen our market position.


🤝 Key Account Management

Own and nurture relationships with key clients — ensuring satisfaction, maximizing growth, and continuously creating added value.


🔍 Market Insights & Analysis

Stay ahead of the game by monitoring trends, analyzing market data, and using insights to make informed decisions that drive performance.


💰 Forecasting & Budgeting

Collaborate with finance to develop accurate sales forecasts, manage budgets, and ensure optimal resource allocation.


🤝 Cross-Functional Collaboration

Partner with marketing, supply chain, and operations to align strategies, streamline execution, and elevate overall results.


📊 Performance Optimization

Track performance metrics, analyze results, and implement improvements to exceed targets and boost business outcomes.

What experience should you have:

Qualifications:

  • Experience: A minimum of 5 years of sales experience in the FMCG industry, with a strong background in key account management, is a must.
  • English language knowledge: B2+ level, fluent communication is a must.
  • Demonstrated history in people management is a must.

Strategic Mindset: Proven ability to think strategically, identify market opportunities, and  with the ability to formulate and lead toward the execution

Leadership Skills: Demonstrated success in leading and developing teams, or ability to foster a collaborative and results-driven environment.

Relationship Building: Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders.

Analytical Thinking: Strong analytical skills, with the ability to analyze market data, identify trends, and leverage insights to make informed business decisions. 

Results Orientation: Proven track record of exceeding sales targets, driving revenue growth, and delivering outstanding business performance. Familiar with sales KPIs management.

Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, adapt to changing market conditions, and embrace new challenges.

You will be reporting to the Country Director of Slovakia.
