Senior SAP Project Manager

Key Responsibilities:

• Project Vision & Strategy – Define and communicate the project vision, align with stakeholders, focus on business value.

• Scope & Planning Management – Define MVP, break down the project into phases, ensure adherence to the 12-month timeline.

• Team Leadership & Collaboration – Lead cross-functional teams, define roles and responsibilities (RACI), foster high performance.

• Vendor Management – Oversee System Integrator and partners, ensure quality and timeline adherence, resolve deviations.

• Quality Assurance – Validate outputs (BBP, configurations, test plans), manage sign-off points and quality gates.

• Risk & Change Management – Identify risks early, manage change requests, escalate and resolve critical issues.

• Communication & Stakeholder Management – Provide regular updates to sponsors and teams, ensure project transparency.

• Testing & Cutover Execution – Oversee SIT, UAT, data migration, prepare for Go-Live & Hypercare.

• Change Adoption – Support training, onboarding, and ensure internal customers are ready for change.

Education & Certifications:

• University degree in Project Management, IT, Business or related field.

• Project Management certifications (PMP, PRINCE2) preferred.

Experience:

• Minimum 7+ years of experience managing complex IT or ERP projects.

• Proven success in full-cycle SAP implementations, ideally in accelerated timelines.

• Experience leading cross-functional teams and managing external vendors.

Skills:

• Excellent stakeholder management and executive communication skills.

• Deep understanding of ERP processes and SAP S/4HANA methodology.

• Strong planning, risk management, and problem-solving capabilities.

• Experience with project tools like MS Project, JIRA, Confluence.

• Fluent in English (spoken and written). Slovak/Czech a plus.
